I wish I knew what I was looking at. I thought it was a cool find at Goodwill.

From my recent thread, see http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98381 ,
I counted 6 tubes that would be of interest to the good folk here. Not sure what "Standard Brand" is. Most of the tubes seen in that briefcase (nice packaging) that would be of interest are around $5 in a name brand (like RCA) via tube vendors on the net.

I've been sittin on the fence lookin at how green the grass is over here on the 2 channel.
I bought four Polk Monitor 7A's off of craigslist a couple weeks ago. I think i'm getting a little feverish. Hope you all don't mind me lookin around for awhile. Maybe test the waters per say.

Hey, buy a 2 ch tube rig and go from there! :D I'd do it in an instant, but have to ration my audio $, as I am at the stage of my life of buying a car for cash every six months (called putting kids through college). 'lots of tube enthusiasts around here.

A starter tube system is next on my list. The HT is pretty well finished off for the time being. ;)
