Any opinions on the Acoustic Research AR-58's?

Hey guys, the same guy who sold me my Sansui G-9700 has a pair of AR-58's he's willing to sell. Hasn't told me a price, but considering he sold me the Sansui for $100, I imagine the price will be good. Anyone heard these before? They look like this.

Newer than the ARs I know well, but not so new as to be trash; should be more than decent.

older Advent and AR are great, some of the best speakers I ever had were some AR TSW 610,s and some Advent Maestro's

The AR 58s cam out in the early 80s. Sold for around $700 There is the AR 58 (the best version) AR58 B (writing on the wall so started to cheapen) and least wanted the AR58 BX. Find out what they are. AR speakers are very good but then I love old Advents so let your ears be the judge. keith
