Picked up a set of 2B's on the cheap

I picked up a set of 2B's today, got them cheap so what the hell.

One side panel is off, and one of the wood caps has a couple of small chips in it plus the guy put some SL2500 tweeters in them, they will be gone.

other then that they are in great shape. all the MW's are original and in working order, they are the Pin/Blade style (The last set I had were Blade/Blade) so if memory serves me right these ones can have the tl mod "right"?

Monday I picked up 2 MW6510's, and 2 MW6511's just to have some spare drivers...

    The 1C's, and now these 2B's. I sold my last 2B's to pick up the 1C's

    What do you have Larry, a warehouse? I have a decent sized house and I could never find space for all those SDAs...I'm having trouble finding a room big enough for SDA-2Bs? (in a 2500 sq. ft. house) but not many large rooms?

    haha No I don't have a warehouse.;) when the 1C's are done they will hit the 2 channel for awhiile as the 1.2's will have the wood, and grill cloth redone..
    They are keepers these 2 sets will be around for awhile..

    The 2B's will more then likely go to a friend of mine..

    Both blade/blade and pin/blade SDA-2B's can be TL'd and I would highly recommend it. The addition of a 5.8uf bypass cap over the 2.7 ohm resistor is all it takes to allow you to drop the RDO-198's in.

    Nice grab, If those SL-2500 are just going to go in the scrap pile I'll send you some cash for them. Looking for replacements for a pair of M5JR+ that are waiting to pull surround duty in the livingroom.
