I'm tired of messing with bare wires and would like to add preferably bananas, but spades may do. Looking for descent quality that could handle up to 12 AWG. Must be crimp style. I'm needing a spare for each end of a stereo set-up, so 4 pair would be great. Let me know what you have.

Thanks a bundle!!!

Monoprice.com, as long as you don't mind risking having your credit card info hacked.

    From Monoprice.....I think its safe......

    * 3/22/2010 1:40PM PT - SYSTEM UPDATE: We plan to accept credit card payments again beginning at 1:00 a.m. PDT on March 23, 2010. Thank you again for your patience and continued support.

    * 3/22/2010 1:22PM PT - INCIDENT UPDATE: We are continuing to work with forensic investigators to determine whether credit card information was stolen from our computer network. We have been advised that it will take several more days for the investigators to complete their work. We have rebuilt our computer systems and have deployed additional security measures. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

    * 3/12/2010 11:00PM PT - Our outside investigators have continued to review log files from our Internet-facing servers. They have not found evidence of any successful attempts to penetrate our computer system. Our internal IT staff found some suspicious files on one of our quarantined Web servers while they were reviewing files to build replacement servers.

We have identified the suspicious files to our outside investigators so that they can extract the files from the image of our servers that they made earlier. We asked them to let us know if the suspicious files are significant. We will post more information here about the investigation when we have it.

We are taking steps to re-launch our site early next week. We will not take credit card payments on the site initially but will take payments through PayPal Express and Google Checkout. We will let you know when the site is available. Thank you for your continued support.

    * 3/9/2010 3:00PM PT - A few of our customers recently reported to us that information from credit cards they used on the Monoprice website had been misused. We promptly began an investigation with the help of expert computer forensic investigators to determine if any card data had been stolen from our computers.

To date, the investigators have found no evidence that card information has been stolen from Monoprice's computer network. As a precaution to ensure that our customers' information is not at risk, we have taken our website offline temporarily while we and our investigators complete the audit of our computer network.

We want to ensure that there is no security vulnerability in any part of our computer network system. We notified local and federal law enforcement agencies, our credit card processing business partners, and all credit card companies that some of our customers reported concerns regarding their card information to us.

We also advised these entities that we are working with outside security specialists to determine if there was breach of our computer system. We will post additional information when it is available. We regret any inconvenience that our investigation and the temporary suspension of the Monoprice website may have caused you. Thank you so much for your great support.

Spades are a PITA! No matter how hard you try to torque down on them they always seem to come loose. Even with great heavy metal Cardas posts they need to be checked from time to time to make sure they didn't come loose.

I would use banana's, locking type preferably.

I use these angle spade connectors on my vintage amp. I put some shrink tube on them for easy identification and to protect them from shorting out. A big plus is being able to use banana plugs with them, it makes swapping out equipment a snap.

I have some spare Crimp style spade connectors. These came directly from Signal Cable and are the ones Frank uses on his products.

There is a guy on Agon selling Nakamichi bananas for $2 each including shipping. Just search "banana". I've ordered from him twice already. He also sells some inexpensive brass cones that are very nice. I bought a set for my vintage TT. I superglued them to a marble platform that the TT is sitting on.
