Is there an official thread or method for making polk forum suggestions?

If the forum is not open to suggestions, please let me know that as well.

Thanks. :)

Absolutely. You started a thread before, right? That's the method. Sorry it didn't end in the result you wanted. Perhaps this time around a different approach is in order.

I would suggest a PM to the mods ect. They can be identified by the Mod tag under their names that are colored. Doro is blue, Russ is yellow, Ken I am unsure. I would say that a PM would be the best suggestion as you are going right to those who would handle the forum otherwise you are posting publicly and you may get reactions that you don't like (See other thread now closed) and to me would defeat the purpose of a suggestion, as well as you open the doors for those that will comment and suggest things different, and may cause agruments, confusion, ect.

Really? You still can't let this rest after the Showcase debacle?

From an "I don't care" perspective, you certainly look to be intentionally making waves.

This is a private forum that Polk can do with as they please. PM a mod for forum feedback, but there's no need for these types of postings....

Patrick only accepts forum suggestions via telepathy.

Please concentrate on any suggestion intensely for the next 12 hours while fasting and thinking good thoughts about Patrick. He WILL receive them.

If the suggestion is not implemented within the following 12 hours, it has been rejected by Patrick.

    Good luck.

I would suggest a PM to the mods. If you have a constructive suggestion, I'm sure they would be receptive.

If accepted, I would hope the mods would then float the idea to the membership for feedback.

If it's a good idea and most are for it, move forward. It will then be a better site for all of us.

    Just my 2 cents. ;);)

Didn't we just go through all this "make suggestions to Patrick and Al so the forum can be better" a couple of weeks ago?

"9) Forum rules & guidelines are not up for debate. This is not a democracy, but rather a private forum owned by Polk Audio. Anyone openly debating the rules we have set in place will be removed."

Making a suggestion to a forum is different than debating the rules. Suggestions from the past as I remember prompted icons, picture management, the Clubhouse, an auto audio section, a subwoofer section, a test section, clubs etc.

I agree Chuck, but being made aware and reading this thread, I'm wary of the OPs agenda. I'm not making accusations but the contents of that thread is disturbing. I'm glad it got shut down.

I don't see why Doro's tag has to be blue, why can't he have a nice .... mauve ?

And why can't Russ be a nice aqua marine ? That's a nice feel-good color.

And space monkeys ....... tell me one good reason why we can't have a couple of nice flying space monkeys ?

And ..... wait a sec ..... yeah ...... okay ...... I think I better heed my previous advice.
