Hey, Russ and I are planning on coming down there to see Jerry, George and Ben in a couple of weeks. If it helps Steve, I'll volunteer to drive them 30 miles closer to your house.

Sorry to report, but I most have jump on this idea to buy another set of Amazing speakers. He's not ready he may just talk about stuff, but nothing serious. I jump this WTB thing since I felt it may take a year or so. I tried to get him to buy mine, since he loves them he liked the price what I paid for them. That's a no go, I would like to sell mine before I got another set.

Very confused Steve. Why would you sell a pair to replace them with another pair?:confused::confused:

I was trying to get a pair for him, I know he didn't wish too spend a lot of money. I would sell him mine for what I paid for them, and this would allow me to have another pair which is a higher speaker. In the end Win Win, but....

He could have either set I really didn't care.

IIRC--- Jerry re-wired his Plats(Original--to Plat upgrade, Joe,, Steve has the originals ) and the bass is much tighter and more "present".We powered them with my little VTL's and I cannot remember them sounding better,, oh yeah,, he checked/corrected the wiring on the woofers and upgraded the binding posts too, considering the age of these,,they are pretty damn mint, as the original owner took very good care of them.Someone is gonna get a very nice pair of speakers.:)
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

You can do it Steve,, sell your originals,, pick up the plats,, you'll save money on amplification,as they are more efficient,, see there,, you are actually saving money,,he,,he how's that for rationalization/justification?;)
