Trade Two for One?

I hate it when things like this happen!

When purchasing my Polk speaker system I was fortunate to have done so in two orders. Fortunate because with each order I received a free PSW111.

Love a deal!

That's my problem.

Now I see a guy can buy a new DSW3000 for about half price!

Now this is my problem.

While a lifelong su**** for a deal - it's still darn near eight hundred bucks. If I thought one DSW3000 was better than 2 PSW111s - which I think sound pretty nice, well you know what I'm asking ...

the micro goes lower but do you really want to shell out 8 large when you just got 2 free subs. now, if you aren't happy with the duals you have now then you may think twice, but personally I would take the 800 and save for an id sub like svs or epik and go that route

+ 1, hold on to your dual 111's until you're not happy with them anymore and then go big. The DSW3000 is a much better sub than the PSW111, but you have two of them, and they were free. I would stick with them for a while, plus it may be hard to go back to one sub after you've gotten used to having two. Unless, that is, that sub were a SVS 13 ultra . . Good luck,

+1 On the previous comments. I would keep the dual 111's until I had saved enough to make a substantial jump up. I would look into the SVS/HSU/Epik/ED markets and see what I could afford.

    Rear - RTiA3's
    Center - CSiA4

Any advice from this group is accepted with due consideration and respect.

Any advice to keep the money in my pocket ... priceless!

And yes, I have tweaked and spaced the two to where there is some good stuff happening with the HT. But again, seeing the 3000 at that price set my 'deal genes' in to orbit. Back on earth now thanks to you all.
