i just ordered my new adcom. i did not hear the amp caues they had to spical order it but i did hear the new lsi and they are sweet. they also had the lsi7 for 500 a set. if i could run them off my recever they would be mine. but i did get to hear a 3 channel amp by adcom it sounded good. but beter on the lsi. i am going to have to buld my self a clone of the lsi but upgrade a bit
do you think it would be ok to mix amps and pre amps? like get the b&k ref 50 to go with my adcom?

gonzo, congrats! which one? the big motha or the petite? This is just me, but does the Adcom has balanced interconnects option? if so, then it's a nice option that you can hook 'em up with ref50. I see no problem mixing amps and pre-amps, some folks here do feel differently about it, though...I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

125 x 7 is the petite one, right?

yes. with getting the smaller one it will let me get the pre sooner or do a little diy left center right. but it dont have balanced inputs. the big one has them but the adcom pre dident. that is weird. i also cant find alot of data on what the preamp has for adcom.

hmmm, have you look at B&K AV125.7 (125 X 7) WITH XLR balanced input? it's not too late to look around again.........I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

the amp came in today but i can not pick it up till tomarrow had to work tonight. i am getting up bright and early on my day off . i will post picks as i get it tomarrow. just cant wait for my cables.
