I was not satisfied with the def tech sub i bought. So I ordered the an HSU. Simply put WOW! I think this one is a keeper. Now if I can just convince the wife to let me buy the 350$ svs 10 inch (3 months old according to seller) off craig's list for the home theater I will be all set lol. "All set" like that is actually possible.

Oh 2 channel with lsi9's. Music only.

I have a HSU STF-2 in my system too. It is very "musical". Sometimes I forget it is even there, and then some powerfull bass parts come along in a track and it suprises me.

It is even fast enough to blend with my Magneplanar MMG's when I am using them, which is difficult for a lot of subwoofers.

I keep thinking of upgrading to a STF-3 or a VTF-3, has anyone done this and found it worthwhile?

    Thanks
