Hello i am wondering if a DSW4000 would be Overkill for the speakers & receiver i already own.I have had Polk speakers for a while & i want to add a Subwoofer to the mix.I own a Pair Of RT800I's front speaker i also own a Pair of RT600i's for the rear Speaker & my Center channel speaker is a CS400I.So i am looking to add a Subwoofer for both music & for Movies since i watch & listen to both alot.I was originally looking at the PSW650,505 ,or PSW1000.But some guys suggested the DSW series.Like maybe the DSW600 well i was thinking what about the DSW4000.Let me know any info will be very helpful.

Overkill on a good subwoofer? I think not.

If you can afford the 4000 get it, but if your going to spend that kind of money don't limit yourself to just a Polk subwoofer.
