Funny, I remember hearing these same comments when people started getting carpal tunnel from typing on computers too much. And yet, here you all are....

But then her voice may go out from all the talking she is doing and have to give her rehab for that. jk

I've used my hands to play instruments, type ect since I was in 3rd grade and never have had a problem. If she's getting it from texting, wow, no more using my Iphone to post on the forum. oh well....

I'm not surprised, it's the "carpal tunnel, ADD" generation.

100 a day is not excessive compared to most young girls I know. Wasn't there a record for texting in a month? I remember it being a looooooot more than 100 a day.

I vote the government bans texting.

If the government can ban texting, why don't they ban something that would actually improve the quality of life like ousting fast food. Unhealthy eating has to be the top reasons health care is in the crapper right now (cost wise).

My point, in the grand scheme of things, texting isn't that bad and no different then typing on a forum except its on a phone;). But yes someone always takes one thing too far, its called addiction

    She needs her head examined.
I only talk to people ON THE PHONE because I have to.
And I give a few short answers via email.
But welcome to the new world. But nobody wants to live in it.
    They are too busy texting.
Anything I really think about it would get me a short term
vacation from posting. Every day I feel more like Clint Eastwood
    from Gran Torino.

I work business, things that progress me and my company, including young professionals that may ultimately run a business.

Yea, pick up the phone and make phone calls. Texting does not maintain, nor create and maintain a business.
