Shoes!

I realize it's a bit odd, selling shoes here on an audio forum, but I've seen wierder...

I was going through the closet this weekend and had forgotten about some shoes that I'd meant to sell a while back, so I'm doing it now. These are all a size 8 Medium (I think the J Ferrar are an 8.5, but they fit like an 8) and all have basically the same fit.

I've since discovered that I wear a size 8 Hobbit (extra wide) and have now built up my shoe wardrobe in the proper size and need to get rid of the ones that don't fit.

All these are in excellent condition and have been worn less than 5 times each. I'm posting pictures in the posts below, pictures aren't the greatest, so let me know if you need another shot of any of these.

I'd like to sell these as a group (3 pair), and I'm doing so at a price that's more than fair, $150 for the lot. The Allen Edmonds pair alone are worth that, and the other two pair aren't exactly cheap shoes you'll find at Target or Walmart.

First up is the Allen Edmonds Dawson, in black. Those those of you who aren't familiar with Allen Edmonds should check out their website and watch the video about their production and recrafting process. They make a great quality product, made here in the USA. They're not the highest end shoe in the world, as there are shoes costing thousands of dollars out there, but they're the highest end for me.

Second up is a pair of J Ferrar. These are actually a nice deep brown color, more so than is depicted in the pictures. I don't know much about the brand, but this pair is a very well built shoe. I believe they make shoes all over, the pair for sale here is made in Italy.

Last up is a pair of Flowsheim, these are a brown shoe with a hint of red in the color. These certainly aren't cheap, but they're lighter than the other shoes. These are made in India.

I would take the Allen off your hands as I LOVE them however I don't think I can cram my foot into a size 8. Size 9 yes but 8 just no. haha

Too bad your feet aren't a little longer. My audio rack won't let me mount my toes that close to my heels and I find myself in need some good interview gear. Best of luck with the sale.

I forgot to mention that I'm also open to trade offers of any kind. I will leave this up here for a day or two before I bother posting on eBay.

I never got around to listing these on ebay, thought I'd try again here, selling on eBay is such a pain in the ****, I haven't done it in years and forgot how difficult it is...

Maybe you should grow just a bit! Size 8? Usually people like such a small footprint for floorstanders, but I think that this is the exception to the rule.

The man 'knows' his shoes and how to care for them. My what meticulous storage? Very impressive.

You do know that as you age your foot gets wider? So we're all heading to Hobbit land...my daughter is reading the book as we speak. Alas, I too have BIGGER feet--a few sizes, in fact.

But these look like some fine fare for the professional gentleman!

    Good luck with the sale!

How about a bump almost a year later???

I still have these, in the same condition. This is a ridiculous amount of shoe that you're getting for the price.

Price is $125 shipped and $100 picked up locally.
