Those casters in pic 2 are awesome, literally.

Better hope those surrounds are made of rubber. If they're foam...good luck finding a replacement when they dry up!!...lol

Those are some massive woofers. I'll take a couple of the D-160's for some 2 channel stereo subs.;)

I'm gonna hazard a guess that hitting 20hz is more or less effortless with one of those...lol

edit-I'm getting a D-160 and turning the inside of the sub itself into a listening area. I'm going to have a 2 channel rig inside of the subwoofer...and the subwoofer will of course be handling low bass duties. There's gotta be some pretty strong bass on the inside of an enclosure that contains a 63" woofer...lol

I'm gonna hazard another guess that these are some kind of live sound/public address/theater type of speaker...and not likely to be contained in a Mitsubishi HTIB setup.:p

While at work tonight, and board, I ran across this website audio-database.com. A lot of very interesting vintage gear on there. Many models of Pioneer speakers I had never seen before.

Those look like something Mythbusters would fabricate to see how big a driver (and Power) you would need to knock someone off their feet! The 160 cm one, of course!

This reminds me of the part in Crocodile Dundee with the knife....would be cool if a friend showed his subwoofer and you showed off this bad boy....that's not a sub, this is a sub:eek:

I wonder how old those are. That second photo with those casters looks like they just invented the wheel.
