    SDA's most likely. I would get on the phone ASAP on those. They look like 3.1TL's

    Not even close. Maybe and I mean maybe, Onkyo or Marantz. They look more like something cheaper than that though. The one thing you can bank on is me being totally way off.

    I don't see the signature plates on the front. The bottom wood is also too thick. They look like some Technics I have seen. Improbable they are SDA's.

    There we some 'late' (more recent model) KLH floorstanders that looked like that. Don't know much about how they would sound..they were a cheaper speaker with big woofers..3 or more ways!

    The top cap and the bottom plate are different. The one in the OP are not rounded edges as yours appear to be. The bottom piece of wood appears different as well. The last clue I have is that at 29 inches tall, the speakers in the ad are taller than the Advent Prodigy by at least a foot, using the light switch on the wall as a reference. Incidentally, they would also be to short to be the 3.1TL's...

    Getting eyes on them or getting a pic with the grill removed will be the only way to know for certain.

    No, the @ss never got back to me after originally asking what time I'll be coming to listen and pick them up. I hate when people do that on craigslist, which is quite common nowdays.
