i didn't see a place to introduce myself, so here it is...
joining the forum to determine which polk speakers are going to be the best fit for my power/listening requirements...most of my searches continue to point back to this forum, so i figured i'd might as well create an ID... ;)

looks like a lot of knowledgeable people with great attitudes here~

    Welcome to the Polk Forum.

i have all my electronics, just need some new mains now that i'm out of an apartment. in addition to the 2200, i also have an HCA-806a that i will use for the HT power. i guess we'll call it "mixed-mode" as i enjoy 2 channel, but the girlfriend enjoys HT. i figured i'd go into all that mumbo jumbo in a seperate thread ;)

I'm looking at Monitor 70s, TSi500s or even the RTi A series. All the threads, as i mentioned, kept pointing back to here. David mentioned...something about the wallet...lol, I'm ready...but I did see the posting on here of newegg specials & the ebay store. So I'll keep in tune with that and find out how often that happens so I don't jump too soon. I got all the time in the world to wait for the next great deal.
