My avr does not have a small setting. It does have a large setting that the audyssey-like program chose for the L,R,C. I have read some of the posts and it appears I should set my L,R,C to small. Since my avr does not have a small, should I set them to 80. Thanks

    What receiver?

Setting them to any crossover frequency, aside from full range, is the equivalent of setting them to small. Older receivers used to simply have a large or small setting...with just one preset crossover frequency(small), which was usually about 80hz. Most modern AVR's have multiple choices for crossover frequencies though, so there isn't really a need for a large/small setting.

I'd suggest starting with an 80hz XO point for the fronts and center, and a 120hz XO point for the sub(if you're using one).

Using an HK3600avr. I have turned off the crossover on the sub and set it at the avr. Currently have rears and sub set at 80hz.

    Keep the sub at 80hz.
