....selling for friends retiring South. The Carver C -1 preamp is as Mint as you will find.
The PM-1200 amp was rack mounted and shows wear around mounting holes. Also has scratches on top. Front face is very presentable as are the sides. Puts out 600 watts per into 4 ohms. It is the pro version of the Carver 1.5. Both sound great.

For those unfamiliar with Carver. The C-1 preamp:

- GET back to Vinyl - this is an EXCELLENT preamp for use with turntables. Has 2 phono inputs.

- Apart from its various signal-processing features, the C-1 incorporates a full-function preamplifier with all the following:

- Two separate extended-curve phono stages totally free from overload, slew limiting, transient intermodulation distortion, or cartridge interaction.

- Separate bass and treble stepped tone controls for each channel with selectable turnovers and switchable defeat.

- A steep (18dB/octave at 2- Hz) infrasonic filter that eliminates power-robbing record warps or other low-frequency disturbances.

- Tape dubbing/monitoring for two decks.

- Powered headphone output.

- There's also an external loop for other accessories.
