Toy Story 3 to be debut of Dolby 7.1 in theaters.

Color me surprised. I doubt we'll see this rolled out to many theaters at first (because they'd have to replace their processors), but at least now there will be actual 7.1 mixes done at the mixing stage instead of the retro-fitted 7.1 mixes we get on Blu-ray.
So for all those times I said that you'd probably never see 7.1 in the theater... I WAS WRONG!

Heh... I hear ya'! I just think it's good because now Blu-rays will actually have an honest-to-God 7.1 track determined by the original mixer instead of a tacked on 7.1 track made from the 5.1 source.Equipment list:
