Cleaning speaker terminals

Is there a specific solution to clean the terminals, or can I use a household product?

    A good option would be Caig Deoxit to clean.Deoxit gold to protect.
    The stuff is not cheap however.But it will last a while.

    Hello, many folks including me use a product called Caig De-Oxit and De-Oxit Gold religiously for optimizing and cleaning electronic connections. It can be ordered online or found at your local Rat Shack.
    ~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~
