SDA 2.3 non TLs

Is it possible to upgrade these to the equivielent of the 2.3tls? I know the tweeters need to be upgraded but could i also swap out the passive driver for one that is mass loaded like the 2.3tl? Also does anyone have a manual online? scanned/pdf'd?

    Welcome to one of the more innovative Club names I have seen in a while.

    raife is the man you want to talk to, or at least one of the main ones. Big time SDA tweaker. He'll likely be along before the day is over. You'll end up modifying the cross-overs as well.

    The manuals are available as pdf's on-line in the home speakers section of the main site...

    You can get schematics from Polk CS, e-mail or call Ken or Lauren. Ditto for the parts, and as a Club member you get 25% off. Talk to Helen for parts.

    i saw on the parts listing a 2.3tl crossover, so instead of mod'ing the existing, couldnt i just purchase a new one? I still wake up in a cold sweat at night remembering a bad experience with a solder, a playstation and a burnt finger. I just got the chills...I miss that playstation...but I digress.

    I have the 2.3TL, I can assist you upgrading it. If you remember
    byteme another club member he upgraded his RTA 11T's to TL
    version with the help of myself and f1nut(Jesse).

    Just let me know.

    It might be cheaper to sell the non-TL's and buy a set of TL's. Not as much fun though.
