Don't get your heart all pounding and your knickers in a twist, it's a fixer-upper.
The big, bad, Technics SA-8500x. The original surround-sound.
That's how I bought it, DOA, but never have made the time to track down parts, which may be tough.
There is no power from the powerblock that I could track, so that may be what needs to be replaced.
Cosmetically quite good, but again, no lights come on, nuttin' but a 'thunk' sometimes trying to power it up.
The kid I bought it from used to run all 4 channels, 8 speakers(kabukis probably) at his parties, and that's how it went.
Also, I've got a service manual printout, and you'll need it.
Say "In", you pay shipping, which won't be cheap as it's a good 30+ lbs. Drawing in a week.
Technics SA8500X
If no one's interested, it's going to CL free. Or maybe I'll stick it back in the storage room again and who knows.
