Here's the actual speakers, should see them Monday. Fritz sent pics for me. Thanks Sean for letting me borrow your ear...literally.

Something tells me that you're excited about these speakers, I can't put my finger on it though.

Looking forward to your thoughts Steve, what kind of break in do they need?

    Cheers,

I don't know Russ, but I believe I saw photos on his site of drivers being run-in.

Very nice speakers. If they sound as described I cannot see you ever parting with them. Looking forward to your thoughts after they are broken in.:)

This is what I found on the driver break in period. Not much info. and this seems to be a personal observation rather than an official one.

**Taken from audiokarma archive.......I have a set of Fritz Walnut, front baffel FE167e's. They do sound great and yes it took a couple hundred hours to break them in.**

Steve, these are not the speakers you have coming but thought I would post up the info. anyway since it was concerning Fritz speakers. If I stumble across any relevant info. I will post it. The only other info. I found was like above, personal opinions about how these speakers sound. All opinions were very positive so that's always a good thing.

I think around 200hrs is about normal for most speakers...

Speakers arrived yesterday. Extremely well packed. They look gorgeous, Fritz does some excellent woodwork, and they are heavy as hell. I felt like I was lifting a cinder block out of the box. Initial impressions are very good...but I'll save comments after a couple weeks of listening. Nice call Sean.

    Grats Stevie. Review coming soon?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I love that aspect very much. Problems with digital? What problems?...right? Man are they smooth. Enough spoilers....suffice to say that you & I have very similar likes in speakers. I'll bet words like "flow" and "layering" will spark you to know exactly what I'm talking about, and I won't even mention the "B" word. But I digress....LOL
