Yes it is, but I thought an AVR could make it to 5.1 thing not like it was a digital 5.1 but....

Ok so it's 2.0 it making is only 5.0?

Yes, your sub should work. If not, check your setup. Dolby PLII will actually fill out up to 7.1 channels from a stereo signal.

    I believe so

The avr is only applying processing so you should still be able to get part of that audio stream going through for LFE to make use of a subwoofer

There's no LFE channel in 2-channel audio, but you should get the redirected bass from the other channels, assuming you aren't running them as large/full range. DPL-II does not send anything via LFE - just via bass management per your AVR's defined crossover settings.
    Equipment list:
    Onkyo TX-NR3010 9.2 AVR
    Emotiva XPA-3 amp
Polk RTi70 mains, CSi40 center, RTi38 surrounds, RTi28 rears and heights
SVS 20-39CS+ subwoofer powered by Crown XLS1500
    Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray player
    DarbeeVision DVP5000 video processor
    Epson 8500UB 1080p projector
Elite Screens Sable 120" CineWhite screen

I use streaming netflix and get output from the subwoofer. As others have said there is not an LFE channel but it should play the redirected bass from the other channels.
    Front - RTiA5's
    Rear - RTiA3's
    Center - CSiA4
    Sub - PSW110

Are you using a Roku box...if so, I think there is a setting for surround sound you may need to turn on.

I using MCACC for setup, so could it turn down the sub if the L/R speakers are HUGE :) I'm using my Carver Amazing speakers for my L/R speakers. I think PLII isn't a great sound so could the subwoofer don't see a great audio, so it's staying off?

I didn't understand a word you just said...
Anyhow, what is your crossover set at? It could be too low to matter.

MCACC setup is an automatic mic thing that measures the sound in a room to adjust speakers settings, eq, and distance to the sweat spot. I don't usaully look in to it but I looks like 63hz?

Could it be Netflix doesn't send me anything under <63hz?

That could be your problem right there... I've noticed that streamed music is usually heavily compressed and sometimes lacks dynamic range, especially in the low end. So, there might not be much of a signal going to your sub.
