We used to have titles underneath the user name. They have already been removed and there's nothing you need to worry about.

I dont understand the 3rd rule

1st RULE: You do not talk about FIGHT CLUB.
2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB.

3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes limp, taps out the fight is over.

4th RULE: Only two guys to a fight.

5th RULE: One fight at a time.

6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes.

7th RULE: Fights will go on as long as they have to.

8th RULE: If this is your first night at FIGHT CLUB, you HAVE to fight.

basically, if a fighter cannot take anymore and says the word "stop" or they go unconscious and cannot say stop, then the fight is over. pretty self-explanatory.

now, will there be an item up for bid?

TI used to have color coded badges for the employee tenure. A gold badge was someone that had been there 20 years. The gold badgers got more respect in meetings due to their experience. All the other badgers didn't like this and management agreed. Soon afterward everyone had the same color badge. A post count accomplishes the same thing as a silly name.

Yep. And if you knew the guy across the desk from you has been working for 20 years you tend to give him props. I kind of liked the badge idea even though I was a contractor there.

I agree with you, if I remove all of the useless posts (including this one ;) ) I wonder if I have even half of the post count. However, I never really cared about my post count or any fancy titles, all I care is to express my opinion(s) (despite the fact that many may not share it :D )

    Cheers!

Sorry if I am to blame for the title ban, I just thought they were a touch pretentious and misleading.

    Well,

On paper or in print you are right. But as all people in 'my' profession know: Everything has a HISTORY! And that history is usually buried once the final rules or decisions, etc. are made! In any case this is where we are so...let's not worry about it.
