I have for sale 1 quad and 1 pair of used GE 6550 used tubes. These tubes are no longer in production, and have a reputation for being one of the best 6550's ever made.
Not sure if I will be able to get anymore of these, so I wanted to put them here first. I have seen these on Agon for more than twice what I am asking. From unknown sellers.

1 Quad $225.00 and 1 pair $125.00
Prices include shipping to the CONUS
Please PM me if interested.

These are good strong testing tubes.

I had the opportunity to take home a quad,, these things have something that I had read about, but never experienced,,AIR,,these puppies have have it in spades,, bass, mids and highs,, they just don't make em' like these anymore,,seriously if you have an amp that uses these,,you owe it to yourself to experience a pair.Bump for a heck of a great deal.

    Nevermind...
If life had more tubes it would be a lot smoother.

Joe,, I have tried a pair in my GLA,, which is really made for EL-34's,but can use a variety of tubes,, and I do not think you you will be disappointed, I compared the to some current production tubes,,and they just STOMP all over them,,including the Gold Lion KT 88 re-issues that Jerry has in his Cary,, ya'll might wanna look for an octet of these coming up for sale soon-- they are that good,,you just gotta hear it to belive it.And yes,I'm trying to help him sell these tubes, because his SO is gonna kill him(you should see his dining room)LOL,, but in all honestly,, they are that good.

I've heard these are very nice, still pretty new to tube equipment, but I must admit, I like it! Want to try these in my Dynaco MK-III's.
