i am looking for a helmet for mountain bike riding that has built in provisions for ipod and speakers. does any body have suggestions of experience in these that they'd like to share? does polk make 1"full range 2 way speakers?. if need be im sure the foam material will make a stellar enclosure and i can carve out a hole and mount a small set of 2 ways haha. i found one made by giro but thought id see if any body had suggestions first. thanks, dan

You're better off going with in-ear phones. Klipsch makes some AWESOME ones, but pricey~

You can carry your iPod in a CamelBack water backpack.

If you start carving on a helmet, you're going to alleviate the protective properties of it. They are mostly AIR now, anyway!

    NO Polk Audio Equipment
    Sunfire TG-IV
    Ashly 1001 Active Crossover
    Rane PEQ-15 Parametric Equalizers x 2
    Sunfire Cinema Grand Signature Seven
    Carver AL-III Speakers
    Klipsch RT-12d Subwoofer
