Still trying to decide to spend some money or buy some parts. I've posted some on this before. I have Ls-90's and a CS350LS center. 1 tweeter bad in the 90's. I was just going to go ahead and buy new tweeters for all three if I dont just go ahead and buy a new system. What perplexes me are the part # for them. In the LS90's I have SL6500 tweeters. In the Center I have SL6501 tweeters. Through polk email the replacements are sl6000 for the 90's and sl6508 for the centers. I have been looking around for a timeline or something that shows what tweeters were original or what part #'s supersede. Probably doesnt make a difference but I just like to know these things.

The SL6501 is the sheilded version of the SL6500. I presume that the SL6508 is a more recent version of the SL6501 - Polk CS can verify that.

BTW, tell them that you are a Club Polk member and you will get a discount.

And, you will need to spend lots to get better sound than the LS-90 and CS350 combination. Or, stimulate the economy and buy new Polk products and sell your existing system to a club polk member..

+1 for your current setup. I have the CS350LS and it is a great center speaker. I heard nothing but good things about the LS90's. I think you would have to spend alot of coin trying to better your current speakers. You might have to go with the RtiA9 to rival the LS90's.

If I knew the RTIa9's would sound as good I would buy them along with an A6 center. Almost did a couple days ago but Wife thinks I'm nuts since as long as she can hear the tv thats all that matters...... I have had these 90's and center probably 12-13 years and thats along time for me to not have to buy something new. And I've got a old polk 350 sub that still rattles the walls. But would like to possibly pull the sub out of the picture.
But if I buy something I am trying to convince myself that they are end of life purchases. (only 44 so I hope if I buy the speakers they last a long time.)

And it would help if I could find a good home for my 90's and center if I decide to buy something new. I wouldnt want to ship. I'm located in NW Iowa.....
