Dynaudio speakers

I have been bitten again - I am upgrading my speakers and am giving my friends in the Polk forum first shot before heading to the 'Gon. For sale are my beautiful Dynaudio 52SE speakers, dedicated Stand4 stands and Audience Sub20A. Wood is cherry. I bought this setup new less than 2 years ago - maybe has 250 hrs use (I listen mostly on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons with vinyl source). A very dynamice, revealing system. Although the Audience line was Dynaudios entry level these are far above other manufacturers elite line. The 52SE (Special Edition) was released to coincide with Stereoplay mag's 25th anniversary. The mid-bass driver is derived from the Contour 1.3MkII. The tweeter is Dyns famous Esotec design, improved over previous releases. The bass of the monitors will surprise you. They look great on the dedicated Stand4 (pass WAF). The Sub20A is a 10" with a 90 Watt amp - belts out the lower notes beautifully - does not become boomy, a very musical sub. Would like local sale but willing to ship/insure at buyers expense. I have all boxes (except for stands - will pack accordingly). New retail was $3450 - first $1700 gets them.     failed to add I will include a pair of 3m Audioquest G-Snake ICs for the sub and a pair of 8' 4/14ga speaker wires with banana connections.

    Beautiful speakers! May I ask what your upgrading to? Also would you consider selling the 52se w/stands seperate?

    I am upgrading to Sonus Faber Cremona Auditor Ms and REL B2. Yes, I would entertain splitting up sub and speakers/stand - $1200 speakers/stands and $600 for Sub20A. Will include the above mentioned speaker wires/ICs.

    That's a hellofa fine speaker for what he's asking....I think Lush runs these, and he's pretty damn fussy.

    Thanks for the 'pump'. I had priced these to move and was hoping a Polk member would benefit. Off to the 'Gon.

    Will be in your part of the country in a few weeks; flying into Phoenix and a friend from Tucson will be picking 4 of us up @ Sky Harbor and heading down to Rocky Point, MX for some R&R. Driving 90 miles into MX should be an adventure.

    Be carefaul in Mexico my man--very, very dangerous right now--of course Rocky Point is usually fairly safe.

    Gracias, amigo. Will be traveling only during daylight hours and will be very cautious. I have property in Cabo, but have never been concerned with violence until now. It is getting out of control - too much corruption in MX.

    How would these compare to my dynaudio audience 70s? And is that price including shipping and paypal fees?
    Im always interested in trying something different. And I really enjoy dynaudio!

    I am not familiar with the Audience 70. The 52SE is a later model using drivers from the Contour line of speakers. I prefer monitors due to better imaging/soundstage plus the ability to place subwoofer to work the best in your room. I would be willing to split fees - approx $80 your cost. Shipping would be by FedEx (UPS is too unpredictable).
