All scammers rely on one thing...a buyers desire to get over on someone. Same deal with the white van scam guys they feed on greed, to get something for nothing.when you get involved in that thought pattern you are a fish to be cought. Just saying.I understand wanting a deal but.....Main Rig:

I got them from Yahoo auction, yet they didnt' come with a box.

As far as them coming in a box. Yes, I would have prefered that they would come in the manufacturers retail box. But as mentioned in another post,the seller is picking up the shipping cost and they are probably trying to cut down on the size of the package to ship.

It is both more costly and more difficult for counterfeiters to duplicate packaging than it is for them to counterfeit cables themselves.
Hence, one good sign of counterfeit cables or cables that have left the factory in China by way of the "back door" is that they do not come with the manufacturers packaging.e

In talking to some manufactures about this is they know there will be some "leakage" out the back. It's the devil they know sort of deal. -
