Website Hosting Options

I'm designing a website for my mom, who's opening up a new restaurant, and was wondering who people use for their small business web hosting and if you have any recommendations. It's a restaurant website, so it won't be anything fancy; menus, some photos, maybe an event calendar, so space isnt' much of a concern, and neither is traffic (I'd love to be optimistic but it's a new restaurant, how many people are going to the website?)
Any opinions or advice are welcome.

Comcast does, but I don't want to be tied to them in case I get FiOS in my neighborhood or something and want to switch. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
I am assuming that since it is a business you don't want to host it on one of the "free" hosting sites? (which make you display ads)
I would recommend godaddy.com in that case. Have used their basic hosting (I think it is Linux Shared) for 5+ years with nary an issue. Have contacted support a couple of times and got my questions answered within 48 hours. If you order for 12+ months it worked out to about $5/mo. and there are always codes floating around to save you 10% or so.My HT

I use angryhosting.com
They aren't for the faint of heart. No fancy control panels or interactions. Just telnet and FTP. Servers are UNIX/Linux based and you pretty much get free reign with your webspace. Cost is right around $5 a month for most needs.
I'm running 4 different websites off of their service. Two of them are restaurants. I haven't had a problem with them yet. Uptime is literally 99.999%. The few times in the past 6 years that they've gone down it was due to digital service providers and not their service. Only outages are planned outages. I can't complain.
I use GoDaddy.com when I can for name registration. Their service is easy to use, inexpensive and they keep track of it for you and send you notices of expiration.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

I am all for the simple servers.. If its something you ever want your mom to be able to work on you may look at intuit, you know the quickbooks people. Prolly a lil more than Jstas's recomendation but ease of use for someone not as savy could save alot of heartache. If you plan on completely running it anyway then just get the solid service at a good price.

I like godaddy's webmail user interface. However, their website to sign up, or their control panel is very confusing and full of ads. Only $4 per month, monthly payment.
