Would the Marantz SR5001 make my RTi10's have a warmer sound vs the bright sound that they have with my Onkyo TX-SR606?
It's all in the detail.

Most people would say so. From my experience, Marantz and Harman Kardon's mate really well with RTi's. The warm nature of the AVR and the brightness from the RTi's creates a nice neutral sound. I have'nt heard many, but the Onkyo's I have heard did have a slightly brighter, more in your face sound. Thats not a bad thing, because the 807 I demoed with some Def Tech towers was one of the sweetest setups I've heard, and I love my HK / RTiA combo.Home TheaterRTiA5 - CSiA6 - FXiA6 - PSW650 - Pioneer Elite SC-55 - Carver AV-505 - Sony 46" 120Hz - Monster HP 2400 - Xbox 360 - Playstation 32 ChannelPolk RTA 15TL - Harman Kardon HK3485 - HK DVD48 - Signal Cable IC's and speaker cables
