Passive Radiator

I have a question and or a concern about the passive radiators on my SDA 1C's. Today I installed Mortite in the place of the factory gaskets and replaced a passive radiator. After I was done swapping out the bad radiator I noticed that there was a metal bolt on the old passive radiator. The one that I had just put in didn't have one. Do I need to remove the radiator and put the bolt from the old one in it or just leave it alone?

Thanks

Yes I am referring to the weight. I wasn't sure if it would effect the sound.
