Does anyone here have either of these two albums:

Kings of Leon - Only by the Night
Cobra Starship - Hot Mess

And if so, what do you think about their sound quality? I feel like they are some of the worst recordings I've ever heard. Is it just me? Is it possible these albums just don't mix well with my speakers. I really doubt it though.

I haven't heard the recordings in terms of CD, no.

But considering that even through the radio, both groups sound exceptionally terrible (from a production standpoint, i'm not here to tell you my thoughts on those groups), i can't say that i'm surprised.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

After looking closer at the Kings of Leon album's songs, it seems like the highest frequency in them is around 13 or 14kHz. Why would this be? Are there trying to achieve a certain sound? Can a professional recording studio make a mistake this big? I would hope not. Does anyone know of a review that discusses this abnormality?
