I am a novice, but want to build a decent 2 channel system. I'm more interested in music listening than HT. I was looking at speaker wire and saw a cable by canare 4s11 for bi-wire. Does anyone have experience with this cable 14 awg or does anyone have any recommendations?

I've used it a few times, it's a great sounding cable. Be sure to use good termination though. Gold plated copper, crimped and soldered, and covered in heat shrink. Vampire makes affordable spades and nanners that fit that criteria.

I second or third or whatever. It's a good cable and what I used the first time I biwired. Do as he says and you'll be fine.

I use this wire in my rig currently and agree 100% with Face and the others. Good wire at a great price!
