Help picking sub

As of right now my set up is going to be Monitor 70s for front, Cs2 as my Center and Tsi 300s as my rears. what sub would go good with this setup, does not have to be Polk. I was looking at the Klipsch SW450. Is this a good sub? All the reviews i have read say that it is a quality sub. I have a yamaha RXV 665 Receiver right now that has two inputs for subs but i would rather stick to one sub that I can hear and feel the lows. Looking to stay around the $500 range. Any help would be great as this is my First HT setup. Not sure on the measurements on the room, but this setup will be going into my basement. Not small but not huge either.
Home Theater Setup

Receiver: Yamaha RXV 665
Fronts: Polk Audio Monitor 60
Center: Polk Audio CS1
Rear: Polk Audio TSI 300
Sub: Polk Audio PSW 505
BluRay: PS3 Slim
Xbox 360
Display: Insignia 1080p 50" Plasma

I don't know how much help this will be...Best thing I would recommend is to try to listen to subs, ofc the sound may differ some from what it will sound like in your own setup but at least this way you can get a feel for how they sound. A few worth checking out that I've heard good things about are the Elemental A2-300 for $350, a few offerings from SVS in the nsd seriesh in between $475-$599, and some of the dayton kits from Parts Express are also worth a look. Velodyne also has some good subs. They have many to look through and find what be be right and in your price range. So many offerings out there, I know it's tough choosing the right one, do some research and start narrowing it down from there, you are the only one whom knows what will be best for you. Good luck and happy hunting!

Oh and I almost forgot, I would definately take a look at the Polks as well as I'm sure there's plenty of members on here that would recommend them.

For what you are running, the Polk PSW505 would be a very good fit. For $250 shipped from Newegg, it is hard to beat. Also the DSW series is a good sub, and a much better musical sub than the PSW series. Also, look into Velodyne, SVS, Epik to name a few. They tend to be a bit pricey, but you can get lucky in the used market for $500. Welcome to Club Polk, and good luck.

i had the same issue when i was putting my system together, to many good options and good subs to pick from. Finally i went for the SVS PB12/NSD for 600.00 and i am so happy i did. My wife wanted to kill me when she laid eyes on the beast but now she is glad i am happy.
