RTiA1 Dimension question

I'm planning on getting these and the space they will sit on is very close to the listed dimensions, so I need some clarification.

I'm assuming the specified 7 3/8" width is at the widest point. What is the width at the grill?

Also, for the depth does the 11.5" include the bass port/mounting backet on the back or the grill on the front? I guess my question is: what is the depth of just the wood, no grill or mounting bracket?

Greatly appreciate it if anyone knows the answer, or has the speakers on hand to measure.

Not sure on the dimensions, but just wanted to chip this in...

It sounds like you're planning on possibly removing Power Port(mounting bracket) on the back. This is a bad idea. That is more than just a mounting plate...it's also a port that allows you to place it directly on the wall, or against the back of a shelf/cabinet, without degrading SQ as much.

Removing it would drastically change the way the speaker sounds. Just a FYI.:)

Oh no, I'm not removing the Power Port. I just need to know the dimensions, because its ok if the power port hangs off the back of my stand.

You can see in this picture how little room I have to work with:

If the A1 is small enough I hope to replace the RTi4 with the RTi A1. It just has to be narrow enough next to the TV and short enough the back of the wood part won't be off the back of the TV stand (its ok if the mount backet hangs off the back).
