Hey guys, bear with me on this one ;)

My receiver (as all do) has the output levels for all of the channels, I am wondering what do you recommend setting them to.... or is it a "whatever sounds good to you" thing? I am only running the front 3, and a sub. Currently my L&R channels are at +2.5 and the center is +3.5 out of 10 (IIRC). Should they all be that same? Should they be set higher? Do I need to give out componant info?

Thanks :)

Using a sound meter works best.

+1, or if your AVR has a auto calibration program, run that and it will take care of it for you.

Whatever is the lowest sounding channel/s you want set to 0 gain and then pot up whatever channel is behind. For example the Left and Right would be at 0 and then +1 on the Center channel.
