There has been a pair of SDA-1A's available in Charleston, SC for a couple of weeks. Don't know if they are still available, but if they are maybe a little haggling on the price might be in order.

It would be a long roadtrip, but could be done in a day.

SDA-1C's are in that range if they are in good shape.

SDA-2B's would be cheaper and are great speakers also.

Any SDA SRS model that you can find close to that price range is a good deal.

Well just be patient, typically the older ones with the stereo tweeter are not as sought after than the ones without the stereo tweeter or the tl version, and be prepared to take a road-trip to get a deal, some on here have driven thousands of miles in quest of sda heaven, lol.

There is much to know about the SDA and SRS line. Keep reading the threads and you will learn alot of information. SDA 1C's are the best in the five hundred dollar range but you never know if a set of SRS 2's might fall in that range if the seller does not know what he has. Be patient and you might get lucky.

There is a guy in Durham selling some 1C's. He didn't put a price he said just make me an offer. I offered him $350. Is that too low?

it depends, there are a few different versions of it. The regular with cloth sides and real wood veneered tops and bottoms, and the studio, this sounds the same but is all simulated wood, usually black vinyl. the studios are worth that but the regular one a bit more, see what he says and try and work out a deal. knowing the condition and the exact model will help give an idea of what they're worth. if they are regular in good condition and you can get them for that you will get a hell of a deal.

    Hey Stephen,

I saw the listing also and they popped up only 2 days after your posting! They would appear to be SDA-1C's! You might need to bump up that offer a tad to secure their sale. Good luck.

These look like they may be studios with refinished caps. I mention this because the cloth sides are do not appear in the photo.
