Need a Good Speaker Stand

Ok all, so I need some suggestions on speaker stands for my bookshelf speakers, I am going to be purchasing the TSi100's and would like a well built stand, appropriate height, preferably wood, and something that the speaker will sit on and be stable....the Sanus stands I have heard good and bad about some say crappy quality and screws bottom out and don't tighten. Any suggestions for me? I do not have the option to wall mount and do not want a metal stand.

There's a post that might give you a couple of options , being that you want wood stands. Not to question your choice , why do you not want metal stands ? Many more options & also keep in mind , down the road if you upgrade , the metal stands could offer some benefits. Try using the search feature as it will bring up alot of information.Just type in speaker stands & read away. Hope this helps

    Check out Skylan, http://www.skylanstands.com/stands.htm

Noel is very knowledgeable and will be happy to explain why wood or metal stands are not good choices.

I've been using StudioTech 36 inch tall speaker stands for the Monitor 40's, with no stability issues or any other problems whatsoever. (All I have to do now and then is clean off dust that accumulates on the base of the stand.)

From what it looks like from the photos, TSi100 looks to be about a similar depth, so then when centering the speaker on the stand part, it will still be balanced and stable.

I don't know...aren't you using something like an Aiwa boombox in your 2 channel rig?:p;)

Duly noted. These look like some damn nice stands. I'll probably end up going with them when I get some.

I was checking out the component racks they've got on there too. Any experience with those? They look pretty nice, it's a "call for price" deal though. Usually when that's what it says under the price tag...I can't afford it...lol Any idea what they cost?

    F1 Nut:

I own Omega Super 3R speakers and am thinking about the Skylan 24-D.

What sort of import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, currency conversion fee, etc. did you incur buying something from Canada and shipped to the US?

    OP:

If you have a Paradigm dealer locally, their S-26 speaker stand is supposed to be very solidly built.
