Australian Hifi

Well in a month, Ill be going to Australia, Brisbane to be exact, for a month. And will be without tunes for said time. So Im wanting to check out some Hifi shops there, but having not been there before, Im totally clueless on where to go.
So Im asking if anyone lives there, or has been there and can recommend some shops or even sights to go see. I dont think we have much of an Australian membership, but figure its worth a shot to ask.
Im sure most of my time will be spent doing a million other things, but since there is a chance Ill end up moving there at some point, it would be nice to map out a bit of a plan on acquiring some gear as it doesnt seem like even Ebay.au is a great place for audio. Not to mention no Audiogon and not much of a craigslist following either.

Hey, give us an idea of what music they're listening over there when you get back. I'd like to know what the locals are listening to.

Lucky man, I've been wanting to visit Australia for years. Might do some internship work down there for the summer. Enjoy!- Jeremy

Yeah should definitely be a good time, not digging the flight though (14 hrs, non stop out of LAX). Ill check out Lenehan Audio, being in Queensland is perfect. He does have some nice looking speakers on his site.
Fatchowmein, I already listen to a bit of what they do there, my wife is Australian so not much of a choice really, haha. Something for Kate and The Screaming Jets are two groups I dig and would suggest if you're into rock.

There was an excellent shop directly across the street from the hotel I stayed at in Brisbane. I can't recall the name of the hotel, but it was the old treasury building converted to 5 star digs.
Australian made Krix Bros speakers are jaw droppers. You won't believe what you can get out of two, 4" woofers and a decent power amp.
Brisbane is a happening town. Leave the wife home if possible. All shapes and sizes.
