PowerCenter advice: HDP 1800 vs HTS 2600

I can get both for pretty much the exact same price ($100.00)... I'm not sure I see the 'big' difference here? The HTS2600 (older model) is bigger and has a couple more connections (doesn't really matter for my setup). The HDP1800 has a fancy display and is slimmer. Both have pretty much the exact same joule surge protection rating (HTS2600 @ 5700J & HDP1800 @ 5500J). HTS2600 weighs aprox 18lbs & HDP1800 weighs Aprox 11 lbs... does that tell me anything? Not sure what else to look at. Anyways, I'll prolly buy one or the other unless you guys know of something else I should look at in that same price range? Thanks for the advice!
