RTA 12C crossover question

I picked up a pair of 12C's yesterday. They are a bit of a basket case, but all the drivers seem to work. While cleaning them up, I noticed the tweeters are wired out of phase from each other. One of the tweeters is a replacement SL2000, and I'm guessing was wired incorrectly when installed. Can someone confirm that they are not supposed to be this way? From pics I was able to come across while searching, it looks that the black wire coming off the Xover board goes to the + terminal on the tweeter. Can someone confirm that also?

Thanks!

Confirmed. Just checked my 12C's and the black wire does go to the positive side on the tweeter. Have fun whippin' them back into shape. Hopefully they aren't in too bad of shape!

Thanks for the confirmation. They're cleaning up alright. The risers are pretty much toast, main cabinets have a couple of minor dented corners, other bruises, and some peeling vinyl, but structurally they're OK. I'm a woodworker & generally handy, so by the time I'm done with them they should be living room presentable.

You may want to check the schematics posted on this board. I checked mine (RTA 12Bs) and the schematics and it looks like the black wire should be the ground for the tweeters (-).
