Hi all
New member here from Tn. I am hooking up some Polk M4.5 bookshelf speakers to a power amp(Alesis RA500) I just bought. I am using this setup in a small home recording studio. The power amp is rated at 250 watts per side into 4 ohm speakers. Not getting anywhere near the volume I thought I would get using this combination. Is there a way to tell what ohm these speakers are? Is there a location where I could find a spec sheet on these. I know 250 watts per side is overkill and I am not looking to crank these things loud. I just thought I should be getting more volume than I am. Any help appreciated.
