Anyone seen this yet? I'm waiting till it's out on blu-ray, but based on the trailers i'm actually looking forward to seeing Mila Johovavich (or however you spell it) actually ACT, and not just jump around.

I'm more than happy to watch Mila jump, pump, hump or anything else she feels like doing. Big bada boom :D

From what I've heard, this movie is awful. Like... really really insanely "oh Jesus, what the hell?" awful. Still, I'll watch anything with her in it, so I'm sure I'll give it a watch whenever it hits DVD.

Speaking of her acting, I actually thought she did a good job in A Perfect Getaway, and it wasn't too shabby a flick. You should definitely give that a watch.

Well, it's pretty rare when I agree with what most people say about movies. There's very few movies that I absolutely don't like (not counting chick flicks and such).

Since there's a lot of REAL footage and audio included in the movie, I think it'll be an interesting flick, even if the overall story is ****.

Watched most of this last night but just couldn't stick with it for the last 20 minutes. Wow... just... an awful mess of a movie. The interspersion of the real footage with the dramatization makes it come across like something you'd see on Discovery or Lifetime. Right at the beginning, Milla Jovovich comes out and tells you her name, who she's playing, blah blah blah... and from that point on, you might as well take a nap instead.

I'm going to finish it tonight, mostly out of obligation... but on a very basic level, the way they mix in the real footage is an experiment that absolutely fails in every way. Not entertaining at all. I would've preferred to see either a documentary about the real events OR a dramatization, not an amalgam of both that doesn't work.

Okay... finished it. By the end, if your bulls#!t meter isn't pinging like mad, you're not paying attention (though I admit I was roped in by the scam until the last 20 minutes). The "real" footage... NOT REAL. None of this stuff actually happened. Some of it is fairly convincing, but by the end, you'll be rolling your eyes. It's like they were trying to pull a Blair Witch, have you going with it for a while (though not in an entertaining way), but just couldn't cross the finish line.

Just a horrible disjointed train wreck of a movie. Not even good in a so-bad-its-good kinda' way. Avoid this movie unless you have insomnia. It took me a total of 4 tries to make it through this crapfest.
