Good plot, pacing, and acting. Starts off right away. Usually, these types of zombie/virus flick break down halfway through the storyline leaving me screaming WTH??? Not this one. No super idiotic plot twist nor does anyone do anything super duper dumb. Story unfolds in a small town and it's escape or die. Graphically violent but you diehard horror fans may feel there's not enough. Very little CGI.
Overall a well balance horror flick. Highly recommended.

I'd also like to nominate this movie for the new LFE champ, The scene when the lady goes into the barn where the harvester is running, some of the absolute craziest bass I've heard (LPCM track). Not a bad movie either.Casey

I guess I'm the odd man out. I'm a fan of good horror movies, with 28 Days Later and Se7en being some of my favorite movies of all time. I also have admired Timothy Olyphant's acting ever since Deadwood, but I was so bored by this remake that I quit paying attention about halfway through. Perhaps I missed what made it so exciting and enjoyable because of that, but if a movie can't hold my attention its usually pretty bad.

As remakes go, it wasn't bad. But it still doesn't stand up to the better films in the genre, and I'd rather watch Olyphant on Justified.Equipment list:
