Line level inputs

Random and very noob question, but what is the difference between all of the line level inputs on the back of my NAD integrated? Are they all the same and only labeled for convenience?? I had a cassette deck hooked up to the "cd" input and, being as paranoid as I am, want to make sure I didn't harm anything by doing so. Sorry for the naive question

They are all the same with the exception of the PHONO input; DO NOT plug anything else into that one~TNRabbit
