Hi There,
Need some opinion
Current
Have Polk RM6750 5.1 ch Home theatre with a sub woofer senstivity 89 db. Have a yamaha 7.1 channel A/V Amplifier with750 Wtts output.
NEar Future
Adding 2 Tower speakers/ floor standing by Polk RM 8000T or RM 40T or RT600I / s6 book shelf. If anyone can advice whether any of these can be added to my current system discussed above with no sound quality deterioration. specially the sensitivity of all these are 90db and 91 db
cheers

I started with the 6750 set... Lasted about an hour with it and realized it was way too small for my room. It's made for small spaces. If you add a pair of larger speakers for front L&R, you'll have 7.1, yeah, but you eventually won't be happy with your center in comparison with whatever you get. I'd go with a pair that you can easily find a matching center and surrounds for, because sooner or later, that's what you'll be looking to do.

Oh, after 6750 set was gone, I tried a pair of RM50T. I had them about a month and returned them in favor of my current RTi10 towers. The RM50T is larger than the 40 and identical to the RM8000T. I just didn't care for the overall sound (not very full) and IIRC, they didn't go too low. The RT600i seem to be the predecessor to the current RTi series. I'd choose them out of all you mentioned. Have you checked out Polk Audio Direct on eBay?
