Help please!
Just picked up a Marantz pm-94 and some Kimber Kables 4tc for $43.00. Currently using both in my 2 channel system and just love the results.
Question is, Is this amp common ground and can I use it with my SDA 1C'S without doing any damage? Googled the amp and apparently they are fairly rare so I could not find much info on it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Farrell

Is there a obvious way to tell by looking inside?

Don't have to open it up. Test the resistance between the negative terminals on the two channels AFTER you've turned the amp off. Under one ohm, good to go. Less resistance is better.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to go pick up an ohm meter tomorrow. Anybody have any experience with one of these in the past?

OHM meter reads 00.2 at the negative terminals with the amp plugged in but turned off. Am I correct in assuming that the amp is common ground and can be used with my SDA 1C'S?

Schurkey thanks you for the suggestion.
Was able to confirm through a local friend that this reading does indicate common ground. Testing it out with some of my favorite CD's now.
