I am debating on weather I want to go out tonight. If I go out I will be going up Towards Cherry Hill. I need to know how 55 and 295 are. If anyone can help me out that would be much appreciated. "George sent you a pm not sure if you got it yet."

Ever heard of the internet and google. Every county in every city in every state has up to the minute road conditions on-line.

It's not like you're at the North Pole.

I find that the drunks appear to drive better when the roads are slippery... at least around here. They can do their weaving from lane to lane, and still stay in their own lane! It's the sober folks you have to watch out for when it snows.

Snow is fun, the more the better.

I have found 6" of snow or less is boring.

I sit and wait until it's a foot or more before I go out driving around.

3' snow drifts just add to the fun.

Man, that reminds me of the last big-**** blizzard to hit here before this year- about 20 years ago. I'm working at a remodel on the north side of the City. About 3:00 it starts blowing in, Interstates and highways were covered and iced like glass by the time I left 2 hours later. People in Oklahoma can't cope with that stuff, just not used to it.
Cars off the road every 5-10 yards, scattered like toys. Me driving this old widowmaker ford van with about no tread left.
These kids in an open jeep, some of them shirtless, drinking, going up and down the road, pulling out people with a chain for $20 a pop, and they made a fistful of cash that night. Laughing their asses off. I only had 10 bucks, but they liked me, and pulled me back on the road.

A damn U.S. mail truck cut me off about 5 miles further, and I skidded off again, right on top of an overpass. Helluva long night.
Another guy came along in an all wheel drive, pulling out folks with a nylon rope out of the Christian goodness of his heart. After he'd got me back on the road, he tried to pull an 18 wheeler back on, but his rope snapped. Scary, that.
    what a night

I simply do not, I find it pointless to drink when you have to drive. Why risk anything.

    Try this site:
    http://www.traffic.com/

Gives you traffic conditions for the major roadways from source to destination.

    what a night

My Jeep has made me a bunch of money over the years.
I won't pull out some who went flying past me thou.

I stop and tell them the roads are safer with them stuck there.

I drive careful but I do have fun on roads that are drifted shut. I shift to low range, lock the axles and let the fun begin.

If the snow is real deep I swap on my old wide Fun Countrys aired down to 4psi and stay on top of it.

Snow is not fun....without that. Have you ever tried driving in real snow with a hybrid, lol....I normally live in New England...we get plenty of snow. Wish we got less or that they made JEEP hybrids!

Also, snow rots my garage (made of wood)...is causing the brick foundation around my house to come undone, ruining my roof! And is chipping away the cement on my front steps and will require me to spend 5 or 6,000 resurfacing a RATHER large driveway surface to the road.

It looks pretty but IT COSTs you!! Snow likes nature not manmade structures.
