Side by Side comparison(s)

I've been reading the threads on here for a couple of months now about upgrading SDA's (my 1C studios in particular). And I'm wondering if anyone has actually set up a pair of unmodded 1Cs next to a pair of modded 1Cs and switched between the two of them being pushed by the same amp, playing the same source, at the same time, and actually compared the two in that way.???

    I haven't but I just heard a Polkies recent modded SDA 1C's not even broken in yet and they sounded 100 times better than they did before.

    There really is no way you won;t like the outcome.

    After the mods,the differance was night and day for me. You won't regret the results.

    When I did my first pair of speaks, RTA 11TLs, I did one and then compared it to the other to satisfy my curiosity. The difference was so significant that I didn't bother to do that with the two pairs of SDAs that I did.
